Clearwater Restoration has been the principal fishery and habitat biologists for The Bar Z Riverside Ranch in Montana. Just North of White Sulphur Springs, the ranch has 30 miles of water on over 10,000 acres. As a fishing lodge and working cattle ranch, the owners have made a wide variety of fishing experiences their management priority. We have been able to meet their goals through annual population estimates, habitat assessments, and reservoir management. These activities have helped the ranch maintain a healthy population of 20”+ Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout.
